PGGM:n ja Olmar Managementin yhteistyö päättyy liiketoiminnan siirtyessä uuteen kasvuvaiheeseen

PGGM and Olmar Management collaboration ends as the business moves
to the next stage of growth.

PGGM and Olmar Holding decided to part ways with Olmar Management. Olmar
Holding, as a stevedoring business, entered into the Finnish market in 2022
through a series of acquisitions and currently operates in the ports of Pori and
HaminaKotka. Since inception PGGM has been the majority owner, while Olmar
Management sourced investments in the port industry and focused on postacquisition
integration. As the business enters its next stage, local management
in Finland has been tasked with full ownership of business development while
PGGM remains active as a shareholder.

Rebranding will commence immediately. Company’s new Board will prioritize
continued improvements across the key focus areas: (i) safety and wellbeing of
employees and local community, (ii) support of the local economy and our
valued customers through quality services and investments supporting greening
of supply chains and further efficiency improvements.

Tuomas Tuomela, CEO, Olmar Finland Oy: “This is excellent moment to facilitate
change in company’s culture. We have operated both in Pori and in HaminaKotka
for two years, and for us this is the opportunity to take all employees together to
set values and strategy for the company. Last year has taken us closer and this
will speed up change even more. I see this only as positive step forward.”
